2019 Key Stage 1 assessments This video describes the format of the end of Key Stage 1 assessments. We do not do the Spelling, Punctuation and Grammar (SPaG) paper at our school. These assessments are administered in an informal and relaxed setting and are helpful for target setting as your child moves into KS2. Regular reading and practising number facts will greatly benefit your child, and we encourage you to maintain normal routines as much as possible, including early bedtimes, good nutrition and quality time for play and rest. We do not expect you to download past papers to practice at home, as this is more likely to cause stress for your child and not have a beneficial effect.
