Home Learning

This area is where we will put any extra information about Home Learning. It will be used if there is any prolonged spells of Home Learning required, but we will also use this area to put on information about homework tasks we set on Google Classroom. 

 

You all have your google classroom usernames and passwords needed to log on, and anything we put on there should be straightforward. If you have any problems though, please make sure you ask or get in touch with your class teacher straight away so they can help to support you in accessing it. 

 

Below are a couple of useful websites, but please also use all the ones listed on our Year Group home-page under each subject area.

  • White Rose Maths Home Learning These lessons fit with what we're learning in school. If you want to practise more, or if you want to check that you've understood, choose a lesson to go over. Be careful, choose the lesson that fits with our current topic (which might not be the one listed as the Current Week).
  • Espresso This website is full of information that will link to your learning in school. Explore it and have fun. You will need to enter the username and password listed below. username: student24276 password:olqm2012
  • Oxford Owl This is a good place to choose books to read online. Simply choose from the age range or the level on the drop-down menu and choose a book that is at the right level for you. Select 'My Class Login' and enter username: Year5Nicholas password: nicholas. St Bakhita can use these log in details as well.
