Welcome to St Margaret!
Class Teacher Mrs Siddall
You will find information about what we do in Year 2, and the kind of things we are learning. We have lots of help from Mrs Horner, Mrs Oaten and Miss Parkin.
You can see us in action in the slide shows.
PE is on Thursday mornings and PE kit should be left in school each week and then taken home at half-term for washing. It should always be labelled.
To keep you up to date with what we are doing in school, you will find a weekly newsletter in your child's planner, along with a new set of spellings. These are updated every Friday. Please can you help your child practise these spellings along with regular reading.
You can also do research about our topics. We are learning about Florence Nightingale and will be going on a trip to the Castle Museum to see artefacts from the Victorian era.
