Year 2 – St John the Baptist

Welcome to St John the Baptist!

Year 2

Welcome to our class page. Mrs Williams teaches from Monday to Wednesday and Mrs Doyle teaches on Thursday and Friday.

Have a look around! Look at pictures of the things we do in class and how much fun we are having in Year 2! Try some of the activities in the links below. We hope you enjoy our class page!

PE is on Thursday morning and PE kits are to be kept in school and sent home each half term for washing.

You will find a class newsletter and spellings in your child's planner each Friday. They will be tested on these spellings each Friday.

You child has a PurpleMash Virtual Learning Environment username and login that they can access at home via the link below to support their learning.

Reading is very important to your child's development. Please ensure you read regularly with your child (even if they are already fluent readers) and sign your child's reading diary every time. Your child needs to bring in their reading diary every day. Many thanks for your support with this!
