Job Vacancies

Our Lady Queen of Martyrs School currently has two vacancies:

 

  • Teacher of KS1 - full time maternity cover
  • Teacher of KS2 
  • Teaching Assistant Level 2 - two part time positions

 

Our Lady Queen of Martyrs school is in the process of converting to an become an Academy and will join the St Margaret Clitherow Catholic Academy Trust.  It is a Catholic Primary School with a two-form entry (427 pupils on roll), catering for children from Nursery to Year 6.

 

We believe strongly in developing the whole child, and therefore place great emphasis on children’s spiritual, emotional and social development as well as their academic progress.

 

We are seeking to recruit a Year 2 class teacher from October 2019  to cover a maternity leave.

 

The Governors wish to appoint a teacher who is enthusiastic and highly motivated to join our friendly and vibrant school which is able to offer many exciting opportunities. Applications from teachers in the early stages of their career would be welcomed.

Teaching Assistants Level 2

 

Our Lady Queen of Martyrs school is in the process of converting to an become an Academy and will join the St Margaret Clitherow Catholic Academy Trust.

 

The Governors of Our Lady Queen of Martyrs’ School are seeking to appoint two Teaching Assistants who are enthusiastic and highly motivated to support a child with physical and communication needs in the Reception Class on a  job share basis (mornings/afternoons).

 

Applications are invited from Teaching Assistants who have experience of working with children with physical needs or who would be willing to undergo training, and will fully support and maintain the distinctive nature and ethos of a Catholic school.

This post is subject to the Childcare (Disqualification) Regulations 2009 and as such shortlisted candidates will be asked to complete a Disqualification Declaration. Any information supplied will be discussed at interview.

 

Each post is 3.25 hours/day totalling 16.25 hours/week.  The morning post will be  8.45 - 12.00 and the afternoon will be 12.00 - 15.15.

Salary:  Grade 4 Level 1-4 (£18,360  to £19,477 per annum) reduced pro-rata
